Description:

Shipper/Receiver for Manufacturing Company specializing in Melting Furnaces serving the Specialty Steel industry

Warehouse job that requires reading, math and communication skills equivalent to a high school education and five or more years of related experience, or equivalent, whose primary duties are the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ship goods from the establishment, prepare records of goods shipped
• Make up bills of lading
• Post weight and shipping charges; keep files of shipping records; receive incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc.; keep records of goods received; report damaged goods and shortages
• Route goods to the proper departments
• Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices
• Material handling

Required Qualifications:

• Must lift 50 lbs.
• Operate sit down and standup forklift. Pass a DOT physical
• Familiar with DHL, FEDEX, UPS, International Freight Forwarding (Air, Ocean), & Export packaging
