Description:

We are seeking a full time and high energy Buyer to join our Purchasing department at our Rancocas, NJ corporate offices. Consarc Corporation, an equal opportunity employer, is the global leader in the vacuum and controlled atmosphere metallurgical furnace industry. We manufacture a variety of specialty melting and heating furnaces from our NJ location which provides product to a variety of industries including aerospace, power generation, petrochemical, biomedical, automotive and microelectronics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Under supervision of a purchasing manager and/or with direction from senior purchasing staff, performs purchasing duties of limited scope and authority.
• Prepares bid specifications.
• Receives bids and makes purchases of commodities or goods where the financial impact is limited.
• May work directly in support of line operations and in collaborations with department managers, engineers, or operations staff.
• Materials or equipment purchased are processed, consumed, or used in the organization and are not purchased for direct resale.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, or equivalent

Condition of Employment:
